Lebanon on U.N. Security Council
Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 1:32PM The United Nations announced today, Oct. 15, that politically divided Lebanon is one five new countries being added to the the U.N. Security Council.
According to a U.N. press release, Lebanon was selected 'in a move diplomats hoped would help strengthen their fragile institutions."
