Is 'b'sheret' the new 'schlep?'
Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 6:59AM Did anyone else hear Kim Masters use the word b'sheret on Morning Edition this morning to describe Comcast's possible acquisition of NBC? She asked host Steve Inskeep, "Do you know what b'sheret it?"
"No," he said.
"It's a yiddish word that means 'meant to be.'"
I think it's Hebrew, isn't it? Either way, a bizarre moment on the radio.
